Goldfish Swim School Gales Point, Belize
Projx Construction Group was honored to accompany Goldfish Swim School team members from across the U.S. on their yearly mission trip to Gales Point, Belize to assist in the building of a small library addition to the one and only school in the village. As there were severual other small projects we took part in, placing concrete for the second story stairway, laying block for the exterior walls, repairing the dilapidated playground equipment, painting, constructing book shelves along with other tasks occupied our days.
All the work we accomplished was done completely by hand, as this is the only way the villagers know. Their work ethic is an incredible display of survival. They grab hold of the required duties and proceed to execute without failure. Their attitude and love for one another is the fuel supporting them.
